Our Story
At Trejo Family Ranch, our story is rooted in family, hard work, and a love for country living. What began as a lifelong dream has grown into a family-owned ranch dedicated to raising Premium Registered Black Angus beef with care, pride, and respect.
Richard and Jessica Trejo were both raised in Fresno, California, where farming, family, and homegrown food were part of everyday life. After years of raising their blended family and working toward their goals, they were able to purchase their dream property in Valley Springs, California — a place where they could raise animals, grow their own food, and build something meaningful for future generations.
What started with a few cows and goats quickly became something more. After tasting the difference that strong genetics, hands-on care, and honest ranching could make, the Trejo family knew they wanted to share that quality with other families.
Today, Trejo Family Ranch is more than a business — it is a family legacy built on honesty, stewardship, local agriculture, and the next generation of ranchers.

Did You Know?
The Angus Difference
Black Angus beef is known for its rich flavor, tenderness, and consistency. One of the biggest reasons is marbling — the fine flecks of fat within the meat that help create a juicy, flavorful, and tender eating experience.
At Trejo Family Ranch, we raise Registered Black Angus cattle because we believe great beef starts with strong genetics and hands-on care. From the way our animals are cared for to the standards we set for our own family, every step matters.
For us, quality beef is more than what ends up on the plate. It is about raising animals with pride, respecting the process, and providing families with beef they can trust and feel good about serving at their own table.
